Welcome to Scoil Padre Pio.
It is my pleasure to extend a Céad Míle Fáilte to all of our visitors to the Scoil Padre Pio website. Our school provides a broad range of extra curricular activities allowing students to engage with the school, to develop life skills and to become well rounded individuals.
We are lucky to have such a dedicated staff who are committed to providing these opportunities for our students. Celebrating the uniqueness of the child
The Irish Primary School Curriculum celebrates the uniqueness of the child, as
it is expressed in each child’s personality, intelligence and potential for
development. It is designed to nurture the child in all dimensions of his or
her life—spiritual, moral, cognitive, emotional, imaginative, aesthetic,
social and physical.
The curriculum recognises the integrity of the child’s life as a child and
aims to cater for his or her needs and potential as they evolve day by day.
By meeting these needs, the curriculum enriches the child’s life and the
foundations are laid for happiness and fulfilment in later education and
in adult life.

Covering All the bases
From start to finish
Scoil Padre Pio caters for your child's development needs from pre school right through to the end of primary level. In addition to the Junior Infants through to 6th Class cycle, we have an excellent Early Start facility on site that takes children of pre school age. We also have a 1st class ASD unit on the grounds of the school which integrates seemlessly with our mainstream classes. All classrooms are fitted with interactive whiteboards. We have a brand new hall, 2 sensory rooms and a sensory garden.
We make full use of the facilities in the local environment with a swimming pool, basketball courts, astro pitches, St Vincents GAA club and Hollyhill library all within walking distance of the school.
Harmonious development of your child’s talents
In addition to the delivery of the Irish Primary School Curriculum, Scoil Padre Pio children take part in many other activities including Basketball, GAA, Soccer, Choir, Engineering (in partnership with UCC and the private sector) and craftwork.
